Human Design: the inner authority is the place that carries a decision for you. Which one it is depends on which centres in your chart are defined; there is a fixed order for that.

Self-Projected Authority, G Center to Throat
The Essence: Your truth lives in your own voice. Not in what you think, but in what you say when you speak freely and uncensored. The G Center, the seat of your identity and direction, is directly connected to your Throat. When you tell a trusted listener how you feel about something, you hear your own truth in your own words. Your voice is your oracle.
The Shadow: The shadow arises when you try to make decisions in silence, only in your head. Without the voice as a mirror, you spin in circles. Another shadow: you speak to people who are not truly listening or who try to influence you. Then you hear their truth instead of your own.
Cosmic Advice: Find a person you trust unconditionally, a listener, not an advisor. Tell this person about your decision and pay close attention to what comes out of your mouth. The truth often hides in a half-sentence you almost missed. Your mind analyzes, but your voice reveals. Learn to listen to yourself.
