Houses

The twelve houses represent different areas of life, from identity and possessions to relationships and spirituality. Planets in a house show where certain energies are active in your life.

Transits

Transits are the current planetary movements in the sky and how they touch your birth chart. They indicate cosmic time qualities and can trigger or support inner processes.

Venus

Mars embodies your drive, assertiveness and sexuality. Its position shows how you handle conflicts, what motivates you and how you express your passion.

Jupiter

Jupiter is the planet of abundance, growth and expansion. It shows where you experience natural luck, how you grow and where your greatest opportunities lie.

Saturn

Saturn stands for structure, responsibility and life lessons. Its position shows where you must develop discipline and which karmic tests help you mature.

Aspects

Conjunction

The conjunction (0°) merges the energies of two planets into a single force. It amplifies both qualities and creates a focal point of intense effect, whether harmonious or challenging depends on the planets involved.

Sextile

The sextile (60°) opens doors to creative possibilities. It is gentler than the trine and requires active engagement, the opportunities are there, but you must seize them.

Square

The square (90°) creates friction and inner tension between two planetary energies. It challenges you, but this very tension is often the greatest catalyst for personal growth and change.

Trine

The trine (120°) is the most harmonious aspect, a natural energy flow between two planets. It reveals innate talents and areas where things come to you effortlessly.

Opposition

The opposition (180°) places two planets opposite each other. It creates a polarity that seeks balance, you often experience this tension in relationships, where the other embodies what you lack.

Concepts

Elements

The four elements form the energetic foundation of astrology. Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) stands for will and inspiration. Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) for stability and manifestation. Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) for intellect and communication. Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) for emotions and intuition.

Modalities

The three modalities describe how you channel energy. Cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) initiates and starts new things. Fixed (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) sustains and deepens. Mutable (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) adapts and transforms.

Retrograde

When a planet appears retrograde (moving backwards), its influence slows and turns inward. It is not a time for new starts, but for review and deepening. Mercury retrograde affects communication, Venus affects love, Mars affects drive.

Lunar Nodes

The North Node (ascending) shows the direction of your soul's development in this life, where you are meant to grow. The South Node (descending) represents your karmic past, abilities you bring with you, but should not cling to.

Synastry

Synastry compares two birth charts with each other. It shows how the planets of one person touch those of the other, where attraction arises, where friction lurks and where shared growth is possible.

Human Design

Human Design combines Astrology, I Ching, Kabbalah and the Chakra system into a unique body graphic, your energetic blueprint.

Type

Your Human Design type describes your fundamental energy mechanics. There are five types: Manifestor (Initiator), Generator (Builder), Manifesting Generator (versatile Builder), Projector (Guide) and Reflector (Mirror).

Authority

Your inner authority is your personal compass for aligned decisions. It shows which body signal you can trust, be it your gut feeling, your emotional wave or your splenic impulse.

Strategy

The strategy is the path of least resistance for your type. Generators wait for a response, Projectors for invitations, Manifestors inform before acting, and Reflectors wait a full lunar cycle.

Profile

Your profile (e.g. 3/5 or 4/6) describes your life role, a combination of conscious and unconscious lines. It shows how you learn, what experiences you gather and how others perceive you.

Centres

The nine energy centres in the Bodygraph correspond to the chakras. Defined (coloured) centres show your constant strengths. Open (white) centres are areas where you absorb and amplify the energy of others.

Channels

Channels connect two centres and create a constant, reliable force in your being. Each channel has its own quality, from creativity to intuition to willpower.

Gates

The 64 gates in the Bodygraph correspond to the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching. Each gate carries a specific energy or theme. When both gates of a channel are activated, a defined channel is formed.

Bodygraph

The Bodygraph is the visual representation of your Human Design chart, a body graphic with nine energy centres, 64 gates and 36 channels. It shows at a glance which energies are consistently defined in you and where you are open to the energy of others.

Not-Self Theme

The not-self theme signals when you are acting against your own energy. For Generators it is frustration, for Manifestors anger, for Projectors bitterness and for Reflectors disappointment. It is not a fault, but a valuable signal guiding you back to your power.

Incarnation Cross

The Incarnation Cross describes your overarching life purpose in Human Design. It is calculated from the four Sun and Earth gates of your personality and design sides and reveals the grand theme your life serves, your cosmic mission.

Signature

The signature is the positive feeling that arises when you live in alignment with your strategy and authority, the counterpart to the not-self theme. For Generators it is satisfaction, for Manifestors peace, for Projectors success and for Reflectors surprise.

Variables

Determination

Determination (also Digestion) shows how your body most effectively absorbs food and information. It is derived from the colour of the Design Sun. The six types are: Appetite, Taste, Thirst, Touch, Sound and Light. Each determination has its own recommendation for optimal nutrition and information intake.

Environment

The environment describes the physical place where your body thrives, relaxes and regenerates best. It is derived from the colour of the Design North Node. The six types are: Caves (retreat), Markets (activity), Kitchens (nourishment), Mountains (overview), Valleys (shelter) and Shores (transition zone).

Motivation

Motivation reveals the deepest inner drive that guides your actions. It is derived from the colour of the Personality Sun. The six types are: Fear (caution), Hope (optimism), Desire (longing), Need (basic needs), Guilt (responsibility) and Innocence (pure impulse).

Perspective (View)

Perspective describes the lens through which you perceive and evaluate the world. It is derived from the colour of the Personality North Node. The six types are: Survival (security), Possibility (potential), Power (dynamics), Desire (depth), Probability (analysis) and Personal (individual experience).

Strongest Sense (Cognition)

The strongest sense shows your dominant cognitive perception channel, the sense through which you grasp the world most deeply. It is derived from the tone of the Design Sun. The six types are: Smell, Taste, Outer Vision, Inner Vision, Feeling and Touch.

Aura

The aura is your energetic field that other people perceive unconsciously. Each HD type has a characteristic aura: Manifestors have a closed, repelling aura. Generators an open, enveloping one. Manifesting Generators a magnetic, sweeping one. Projectors a focused, absorbing one. Reflectors a mirroring, sampling one.

Variable Arrows

The four arrows at the top of the Bodygraph show the deepest imprint of your design. Left-pointing arrows (tones 1-3) stand for a strategic, active approach. Right-pointing arrows (tones 4-6) for a receptive, passive one. They influence Determination, Environment, Motivation and Perspective.

Numerology

Numerology deciphers the numeric matrix of your life, hidden patterns and cycles derived from your date of birth.

Life Path

Your life path (also life number) is calculated from your complete date of birth and describes your fundamental soul mission, the overarching theme that runs through your entire life.

Personal Year

Your personal year shows the current yearly cycle (1-9). It reveals which energy shapes the current year, whether it is time for new beginnings, consolidation or completions.

Master Numbers

The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are not reduced further during calculation. They carry special potential: 11 stands for intuition and vision, 22 for the master builder, and 33 for the master teacher.

Expression Number

The expression number (also destiny number) is calculated from all the letters of your full name. It reveals your innate abilities, your natural potential and the path on which you best fulfil your life purpose.

Soul Urge Number

The soul urge number is calculated from the vowels in your name alone and reveals your deepest heart desires, what truly drives you, even when invisible to others.

Personality Number

The personality number is calculated from the consonants of your name. It describes your outer effect, the first impression you make and how others perceive you.

Personal Month

Your personal month shows the numerological influence of the current month in the context of your personal year. It helps you make optimal use of the current energies.

The Soul-Resonance-Score is the heart of SoulResonance, a compatibility value between 35% and 90% that shows how deep the energetic resonance between two souls is. Deeper Levels

SoulResonance has no paywall. Instead, you unlock deeper levels by inviting souls into the cosmos. Each level gives you access to more: extended dossiers, more detailed filters, deeper daily energy impulses and exclusive content. Soul Signals

Soul Signals are the likes you receive from other souls. When someone discovers your profile in the feed and feels drawn to your energy, they send you a soul signal.

Resonances

Resonances arise when two souls send each other a signal, a mutual match. From this moment you can enter into soul dialogue and exchange with each other.

Soul Dialogues

Soul Dialogues are the chats between two resonating souls. Here you can exchange in real time, send voice messages and deepen your connection.

Soul Chain

The Soul Chain grows with every person you successfully invite to SoulResonance. The longer your chain, the deeper the levels that are unlocked, new filters, extended dossiers and deeper insights. A natural growth system based on trust rather than payment.

Resonance Focus

The Resonance Focus is your filter system for narrowing the souls in the feed by energetic criteria, e.g. by aura type, moon sign, element, life path or authority. This way you align your frequency with purpose.

Composite Bodygraph

The Composite Bodygraph shows the energy dynamics of a couple in a single body graphic. It combines the Bodygraphs of both partners and makes visible which channels are jointly defined, where attraction arises and where growth potential lies.

Advanced Concepts

Companionship Channels

Companionship channels form when both partners have the same Human Design channel fully defined. This creates deep harmony and quiet agreement in that area of life, you «speak the same language». Unlike electromagnetic channels, companionship channels create stability rather than tension.

Dominance Channels

A dominance channel forms when one person has the complete channel defined and the other person has neither gate. This creates a natural teacher-student dynamic: the defined person conditions the open person in this energy area. When lived consciously, this can be very enriching.

Gates of Love

In Human Design, there are 10 specific gates connected to love and relationships (Gates 10, 15, 25, 28, 40, 41, 44, 46, 55, 58). When both partners have one or more of these gates activated, a special resonance in the realm of love emerges.

Connection Theme

The Connection Theme shows how many of the 9 energy centres two people define together. Themes range from 9-0 (all centres defined, strongest fusion) to 5-4 (greatest differences). Theme 8-1 is considered the healthiest balance, nearly complete with room for individual growth.

Maturity Number

The Maturity Number in numerology is derived from the sum of Life Path and Expression Number. It shows the long-term potential of a relationship, where the connection can develop over the years.

Sources & Foundations

SoulResonance is based on the Human Design System (founded by Ra Uru Hu, 1992), Western Astrology (tropical zodiac) and Pythagorean Numerology. The 64 gates in Human Design correspond to the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching, one of the oldest wisdom texts of humanity.

All interpretive texts on this platform are original formulations and do not constitute reproductions from copyrighted works. They serve self-reflection and inspiration, not as a substitute for professional counselling.

Planetary calculations use VSOP87 theory (Bretagnon & Francou, 1988) and JPL DE405 ephemerides (Standish, 1998). The True Node is calculated via an ensemble method from two independent lunar ephemerides and achieves an accuracy of less than 10 arc seconds against professional reference ephemerides.
