You notice when your view of a situation is genuinely wanted. Before offering advice you check whether your observation is welcome right now. Then you see whether a useful conversation grows out of it. You still begin your own projects, watching for an invitation does not mean putting your life off.
In Human Design this type is associated with noticing patterns and with being invited to contribute. In a situation you often see the connection that others do not see yet. From this grows your attention to timing.
Try it in everyday life
For example, in a conversation you notice a possible connection. You first ask whether the other person wants to hear an observation. If they agree, you describe what you actually noticed and leave room for their different view. If they decline, that says nothing about your worth. The type describes a pattern, whether your advice fits is decided by the situation.
