Two ways you can try this out: You split a task into your own responsibility and shared decisions and raise the unresolved shared point directly. You name needs, responsibility and limits together and make one small agreement whose reasons are clear to all involved.

For your own review: You sense where your own influence ends and where coordination would have to begin. A distribution only settles once its reasons are clear to everyone involved. You choose an example where both views carried you and hold on just as firmly to what did not fit.
