Human Design: the inner authority is the place that carries a decision for you. Which one it is depends on which centres in your chart are defined; there is a fixed order for that.

Sacral Authority, Sacral Center
The Essence: Your body knows the answer before your mind has finished formulating the question. The Sacral Center speaks in archaic sounds: a deep, guttural “uh-huh” for yes or a resistant “un-un” for no. This response is not an opinion, it is a physical truth drawn from a source older and wiser than your conscious mind. Your task is to trust this body-knowing, even when your head claims otherwise.
The Shadow: You have learned to place your mind above your body. “I should do this” has drowned out the natural “uh-huh” or “un-un.” Every time you act against your Sacral response, you create frustration, the unmistakable signal that you have strayed from your path. The shadow intensifies when you try to mentally plan your life instead of responding to life's questions as they arise.
Cosmic Advice: Practice responding in small things. Ask trusted people to pose closed yes/no questions and notice what your gut answers, not your head. The more you follow this signal, the louder and clearer it becomes. Your Sacral “yes” is a sacred promise to life itself. When you follow it, doors open that your mind would never have seen.
